In all social justice work, the objectives and tactics need to be modified for your own circumstances, and these circumstances change as you build power and face pushback. Here are some suggestions to consider as you develop your own approach. If you need support, be in touch and we’ll try to help. If you develop new materials or try new strategies or approaches, please let us know so that we can share with others doing similar work in other areas.

This is a document you can hand to administrators and educators who are looking for alternatives to the ADL. It explains why and how schools should approach replacing the ADL’s programming, curriculum, professional development, and consulting services with credible antiracist advisors.
Resources: Build your school’s own expertise in antiracism & social justice
Antiracist and social justice curriculum will be more effective if developed by schools that build their own expertise in the field. This will also make schools less dependent on external advisors who may not be credible and may not be genuinely working to advance social justice. This list provides ideas and suggestions to support schools and educators on their learning journeys.
